So we're doing the lessons.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10990356080855495340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24145246.post-37609614079569809662009-01-31T18:48:00.000-06:002009-01-31T18:48:00.000-06:00Swim lessons were the biggest waste of money we ev...Swim lessons were the biggest waste of money we ever spent. :( We put TB in at the Y at 7 months old and he was the only kid in the class that didn't freak out to be in the water. They spent more time trying to convince the older kids to get in the water than they did actually doing anything.

After that time waster, we just started taking him to the pool on our own and letting him play in the water. By 3, he was going off the high dive at CLP. MT took a smidge longer and wasn't quite able to figure out the board last summer but will be all on it by next summer.

My advice, instead of paying for lessons (after this one), is just to take them to the pool and let them hang out in the water. They'll get the hang of it sooner than you would expect :)The Fearless Freakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18060653763011412692noreply@blogger.com
